Family-friendly day of books, art and culture, featuring youth workshops, vendors, free treats, and Black literature for all ages.
The event was held on Saturday, March 14th at the Armstrong Conference Center in Lebanon, Ohio. Over 55 people were in attendance for the book launch event. Renee Forrester and Raye Kimberlin were introduced as the authors. There was a special story time with a read-aloud by Renee's grand-daughter, Phoenyx. Many shared memories and warm thoughts about Elizabeth Kimberlin. After a meet and greet and book sales, the Harmon Museum offered free admission to all of the guests. It was a great day to share the legacy of Elizabeth Kimberlin through children's books.
Raye Kimberlin and Renee Forrester would like to thank Michael Coyan, John Zimkus, and the Harmon Museum staff for hosting our event. They appreciate all of the support during the project by their family. They were honored to share the celebration with so many family and friends.
Thank you to everyone!
